The institution has also rusticated 44 students, warned 25 and exonerated 10 others over similar offences.
This is contained in a statement on Thursday by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Auwal Bagwai.
It said the “Polytechnic Academic Board, Kano State, at its 90th meeting held on Monday, November 29, 2021,” considered reports for examination misconduct and fake results and approved the decision.
The statement added that the Deputy Registrar, Academic, Malam Garba Fagge, said, “The Polytechnic Academic Board approved the decision at its 90th meeting held on Monday 29th November, 2021 after considering reports for examination misconduct and fake results.”
Fagge reiterated that the newly admitted students’ credentials presented during the registration process would be verified and anyone found with fake result would be expelled.
